Top Movers
#1 Shutdown Thriller

Donald Trump signed a funding bill to end the shutdown, however traders, despite the situation being very clear, had a thriller night.
While there is no doubt the shutdown has already ended, the official resolution source for the market is this government website that at the time of writing still shows that the shutdown continues. Fortunes were made and lost, including very prominent traders like 50-pence, who lost almost $500,000 on the market.
#2 Trump Expected To Sue BBC

Donald Trump is looking to sue the BBC for $1 billion.
After Trump continues to say he will sue BBC, traders are now increasingly confident he will follow through. The lawsuit would relate to BBC's edit of his infamous January 6th 2021 speech that many believe triggered the Capitol Riots. Trump believes that BBC butchered the speech and defrauded the viewers.
#3 Thailand x Cambodia Conflict Reignited

Less than a month passed since the official signing of the ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia. Yet traders are increasingly confident that we will see strikes soon.
Tensions increased after a Thai soldier was injured by a landmine. Thailand claims the mine is newly planted and accuses Cambodia of escalations. The situation was especially tense last night when a fire exchange resulted in a Cambodian villager being killed.
We expect to see more escalation before the ceasefire is restored.
#4 Inflation Worries Are Back On The Table

As the new data on jobs and inflation might never come (sic!), traders are adjusting their positions on the Fed decision market.
Without the government data we can only relate on Fed messaging to understand where their mind sits. And what the Fed oracle keeps telling us is that the Fed is divided pretty evenly ahead of the decision. Adding to it Powell's last speech that also suggested the cut is not guaranteed, we are surely in for another interesting FOMC meeting.
#5 A Trifold Phone By Samsung This Year?

While the iPhone is still rocking the same frame it had 8 years ago, traders believe we will see a trifold phone by Samsung y the end of the year.
Latest rumors put the launch date on December 5th. Samsung has already shown prototypes of the phone, however it wasn't clear when the final product will be released.
